Activity Tracker - Sorry, this gadget uses the inlining feature, which is no longer supported.

You must have noticed today that Activity Tracker says “Sorry, this gadget uses the inlining feature, which is no longer supported.“  This has been reported to iGoogle Developer forum and should be fixed shortly. Please watch this link for any updates.

IMPORTANT: DONOT close Activity Tracker. You will lose ALL the data.

In order to backup your data, please follow my post on backing up or exporting the settings . Please note the following:

  1. Before you click on “Restore your iGoogle page to the last backup”  make sure you “Export” current settings.
  2. Then click on “Restore” as explained in the post and then “Export” to export the settings that you just restored (which should have all your activity tracker preferences).
  3. Now you should have 2 settings that you exported - the latest settings and the restored settings.  The restored settings should normally have the Activity Tracker preference data.
  4. Then you can wait for iGoogle folks to fix the issue.
  5. If you need all the current settings for all your other gadgets, then import your latest settings back again using the import button.
  6. If you donot want to wait for Google to help us with the issue, then open this xml file in textpad and check for activity tracker related preferences. Then email it to screeperzone+pc  at  gmail.com  and I can help you retrieve your data.

Hopefully Google should help us resolve this issue.    If you are looking for alternatives, we have the Netvibes and Vista version too - Please visit this link
